Just finished my dash, along with 5.0 HO swap, NP435/203/205 doubler, fuel cell, LED lights............. :shaking:
I bent a piece of stainless in the original contour, milled out openings for the original switches, heater controls ect. and mounted Auto Meter speedo and tach.
The center gauge and switch panel is the second piece, I wired everything through 2 12 pin deutsch connectors to keep from getting a real mess of wires behind the dash.
The two loose wires are for a fan on indicator light that I need to get yet.
I have a local vinyl graphics shop working on switch lables.

Do you know how blinded you are going to get when the sun comes up in the morning on the trails and hits you right in the face. :laughing: I mean hell man I have a hard enough time seeing through a dusty windshield in the morning sun. That bling just turned your rig into a tanning salon :rolleyes:

looks kinda...busy, I guess. It kinda reminds me of an early 80's pontiac grand prix I used to have. Great idea, but like Moveaside said, your gonna be blinded by the reflection off that thing.

Gut it all and install a cj dash... Change over heater boxes, or make the pulls work for the YJ BOX. Cut the holes for the headlight switch and be much happeir. That is what I have done...

The thaught of it glaring and blinding me is exactly why I didn't polish it. It was sandblasted and then shot with clear.
