Ben,

Was wondering if you have another batch of arms ready? Do you have arms that have a 1 inch kick-in to avoid problems with the tire hitting the TRE. Let me know.

Thanks Joe

I have a few more blank arms. They are machined on an 'as needed' basis. I pretty much only have time to work on them on weekends, and I'm not always able to work on them on the weekend. I can make them swung in, up to about 1". On the 1" swing in, you most likely will need to grind the inside of the arm for ball joint clearance. If we get some pics of Mark's arms (rustoleum white) we can see how much clearance he has. If I remeber right, his arms are about 3/4" swung in. I also made a new set for WheelingPiazza swung in about 1".

If you want arms, email me at scoutguy61@yahoo.com If all you want is the arms, I can usually get those done in a single weekend, if other parts are needed, like knuckle machining, spacers, pitman arm retaper, tie rod, draglink, etc. It may take more than 1 weekend. I may also be busy on a specific weekend and not have time to spend in the machine shop, so that adds time also.

I think after this batch of blanks is gone, I'm going to take a break from building steering parts, working full time and going to college full time I don't have much time to spend in the shop. I've got to get my junk ready for wheeling too. :D

Just got the arms lastnight.. I wont have time to install them untill thursday, I will take some pictures and post the clearence with the new arms.. from the prelims it looks pretty good..

by the way, the only reason I have clearence issues is because my rims are a 4 inch backspacing, If they were a 3 or 3.5 I wouldnt have the issues I am having..

the ones I have are for sale through ben

In order to run these arms what changes would have to be made to a stock scout d44?
