Hello,

I have a 79 F-250 4x4 and the T-18 that is in it has seen better days. I would like to put a 5- spd trans in the truck because I do some highway driving in it. There is a 429 under the hood and I do not know what year or what vehicle it was previously in.
I have heard a few different ideas like an nv4500 or a T19 or a clark trans. If anyone has any good ideas I am all ears and I appreciate your help.
