I know it's chit-chat so delete it if you want too Ben, but I thought this was interesting...
It may also be a repost, but I don't frequent the other boards anymore so sorry in advance if it is...
I live in one of those towns where everybody has the biggest lifted grocery getter they can get. I'd stomp em all in this! (http://www.navistar.com/site_layout/severe/cxt.asp)

I've seen one up close. The bed looks out of proportion, but if the sides were any higher you wouldn't be able to reach over the sides. The bed is also shallow compared to a standard pickup truck.
I want one of those little cabover trucks they have. I'd put a pickup bed on it and :grinpimp: it all day long.

It looks way badass, but it is sad that they went for the no-dick big money wannabe crowd instead of producing a solid tow/work rig for the average Joe at an affordable price point like they did in the 40s/50s/60s.

Yes, the title is correct: "New Scout Truck from International being studied" I never thought i would ever be able to say those words, but it is true! The company's Truck Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dan Lindberg stated recently that International Truck and Engine Corp has a plan to execute a bold growth strategy which includes improvements in diesel engine sales, Medium and bus sales, Servere service vehicle sales, the introduction of a new class 8 truck (line haul) - the first new class 8 LH truck International truck in more than 20 years by 2006, to find a new customer for the v6 diesel, secure business with the Military (SmarTruck III - replacement of the humvee) and generate sales for its new CF (low cab forward) truck. With these goals met the company would then have the financial strength to look at reintroducing the "Scout truck" at some point in the future.

I think that just a UV. I don't see anything "sporty" about it.
