A Friend of mine recently purchased a 69' Nissan Patrol. He wants to do a mild lift on it. Have found OME, and Ironman suspensions for it on the net. All sites are either European or af course Austrailian. Does anyone know of U.S. distributors for Ironman? Also there is what appears to be a factory suspension limiter on the front axel. Does anyone know anything about that? I can get pix if that will help, but don't know how to post here, being a newbie. Other than previously mentioned brands, does anyone know of other suspension options for this vehicle, short of completely fabricating one? What kind of prices should he expect on complete kits?

I may be wrong but I think you'll be looking at total suspesion fabrication for a nissan patrol.
I myself would LOVE to have one. Mostly cause Im an old DATSUN fan. Use to have a few Roadsters and 510's.
hmmmmmm the body on my TJ is getting thrashed.... now that would be fun.... put a Nissan Patrol body on it... COOLLLL

Well if you can't find these aformentioned Patrol spring mfgs, then you just have a spring company in the lower 48 make a set for you (i.e. Alcan, National).

Also, I'm sure you could make some longer shackles, add a lift block in the rear, do a body lift, or create a hybrid pack. Lots of options if you want to get creative.

just a note on the driveline's - if i were you or your buddy i'd think about running a different t-case and eng. for obvious reasons -and the stock t-case and driveline combo with a lift is a bit of a nightmare - starting with the t-case options its a 10 spline 1 3/8 odd ball as they get - it can be converted but is it worth it - the part needed from dana spicer is limited and from a damn submarine steering application last i checked there were 18 avalable in the whole united states - so kinda limited -hope this makes you want to run dana 300 or something modern-Jess

somehow must have missed that suspension thread on the Albuquerque site. Thanks I'll pass it on. As to the driveline issue I wasn't aware Patrols were THAT oddball. No wonder you hardly ever see these things lifted and such. Personally I don't think my friend will be doing any hardcore trails so 2 1/2" is probably his best choice. The price on that lift in the link isn't all that bad either. Thanks for the input

Sells Ironman (and OME) for rovers. I am sure if you ask nice they could get you some Patrol stuff.
There are tons of OME dealers around in the US.
