So i was approached by a co-worker yesterday about an email he recieved. Turns out there is a rumor that you can pick the Kryptonite locks with a bic pen :eek: . First told him it had to be a hoax...after some searching and finally a call to Kryptonite themselves (who couldnot denie the allegations and told me they would call me back) Ive come to realize I do believe this to be possible.



So please be aware if your trusting your Kryptonite lock to keep your bike save and sound...just wanted to give a heads up.

Now we need volunteer help to get the word out to unsuspecting
bicyclists about this unfortunate problem. Can you spend an hour or

fellow riders along key bike routes? We particularly need help during
morning and afternoon rush hours, but any time of day would be
appreciated. We have the materials, we just need some helping hands.

department at 1-800-SAY-LOCK. The Kryptonite company, who was

tried it, it works

LMAO..I have a $15 ladder rack tie for the ProFlex...gf bought a Krypto lock....I just opened it...lolol

Just tried it on my Krypto and it worked. Tried a generic brand lock and it worked on that also. Tried it on the tubular lock on the coke machine in the apparatus bay and it worked on that also.
