1989 Bronco,302F.I

I can start and keep it running as long as I keep my foot on the gas.
take my foot off the gas the oil pressure dropes and the motor shuts down.

Bad oil pump? or might it be something else?

It will run with no oil pressure, My guess would be that your IAC is bad, it bolts up near your throttle body, and controls how much air the motor gets at idle. If you were close enough, I have an extra IAC I took off my bronco (nothing wrong with it) id install for ya to trouble shoot your problems. I would also recommend pulling codes from the computer to see if something else is goin on. thats my .02 cents
