Anybody have a spare head? I have not had it apart but the shop said it's bent OH it's a 400ES 2002 .

Strange thing it was running one day and would not start the next.

I can see it not starting with a tweeked valve but would it Run with that valve bent?

No one pushed it home it got there under it's own power. no racing going on either.

PS if you dont have a head any ideas on which might interchange ? is there a motorcycle engine that uses the same head?

How could anyone know a valve is bent without taking it apart ? The most likely problem is a tight valve (adjustment) most likely the exhaust valve. Do you know how to adjust the valves ?

it CAN be easy to tell if it is bent with out taking the head off.. If you pull the inspection cover off and one valve is not coming all the way up it is more then likely Bent..Get a manuel and check things your self when ever possible.. You never know what you are going to get when you have people work on your stuff.. Good luck
