looking to buy a 90 f-250 4x4, 351,5spd that a guy is selling near me. has been well taken care of from what he says. wondering what are common things to go wrong on these trucks that i should be looking for. has 138k on it.

About the only thing that's a PITA is the leaf sprung TTB... likes to eat tires and rides like crap. But, an 85.5-97 D60 out of a F350 will bolt right in.
Otherwise, it should be pretty bulletproof, 351W, ZF 5 speed(with granny low no less) BW 1356 for a T-case and a 10.25 full floater out back(I say this as I've never seen a 4x4 F250 LD with a 351W or a ZF, and 351 with a 5 speed = ZF)
