IMO the full floater kit for the D44 is a waste of money. Put your hard earned money into a D60 or 14 bolt.

I did the disc conversion you are looking at doing. Make sure that your rotor is is attached very true to the axle (no run-out). I changed out my master cylinder to one from an 80's corvette that came with 4 wheel disc and also put in an adjustable proportioning valve to eliminate rear wheel lock-up. You should also switch to a 4 wheel disc proportioning valve. Once I had my set up dialed in I could lock up all four 35's
P.S. my rear axle set up will be up for sale because I've ordered a pair of Pro rock 60's.

I did mine out of front end parts over a year ago and I pound on my scout hard every week. Got my GM 4xdisc master on E-Bay for 15$ shipped! Had to go Summit for the por-valve like 60$. Then ran 3/8 line front and rear(scout 800) SII might be diff. Only snag I had is that by bleeder valves in the rear caliper/piston were not at 12:00 and the resivor was 1/2 full of air not fluid.
