well i heard it run today but not very well. i thinj my problem is spark i dont have a very strong spark from the coil and it very intermitent. and when now it cranks but when i quit cranking the key then it acts like it wants to start.
what do you think it could be i know the grounds on my truck suck so i am going to do those tomorrow.
by the way its a 1986 ford bronco with a 1990 351 windsor efi with a painless mass air flow harness. the painless kit didnt come with a plug for a coil condensor so thats not hooked up. also i am running accel distributor, coil and wires

I am fighting the same problem now with a 1986 F250 in-line 300. I think it is probably the coil. Just trying to find the resistance specs now.

had that problem with mine a while back. found out it was the magnetic pick up in the distributor. changed that and it ran perfectly. I had the duraspark ignition.

Also make sure the coil isn't wired backwards, (negative on the positive and vice-versa) it'll run but not well.

i only have 1 plug with 2 wires for my coil i dont think it will plug in they other way.
i just paid 300 bucks for my accel billitech distributor so i hope the pick up isnt junk.
does that coil condensor have anything to do with it

condenser? what do you mean.
do you have a closed bowl system with remote mount tfi? and are using a distributor mount tfi distributor?

the little roud thing that has a plug on it that is mounted right next to my coil. it came off the 1990 f150 i took the motor from but maybe i dont need one with this. i have alot better spark from the coil but at the plugs it still blows.
you think the timing could be way off.
i dont know what closed bowl is and i am running a accel distributor with the tfi module hooked to it if thats what your asking

thats just a noise supressor. I'd leave it in as without it you tend to get alot of ignition noise in cb/s stereos and junk..
