i had this in the noob forum but i'm not patient enough to wait for an answer there. i've heard that when shopping for gears that i need to specify that i have a high pinion 44. why? it's not reverse rotation is it? i'm just asking because on all the websites gears are labled standard or reverse cut. so whats the deal? thanks in advance :D

Yes, you need to specify that you have Reverse Spiral Cut gears in your HP housing. Reverse Rotation is an incorrect term, and standart cut gears will not work for your application.

no, you will need a new carrier unless you have 4.10's from the factory.
