The nitrous thread in the General board got me thinking. What would happen to a LC six with a 50 hp shot of Nitrous? If it is balanced well and you do not over rev the thing why wouldn't it work???
Just wonderingabout a bit of extra power on sand dunes or deep snow...

And can you use Nitrous with Propane???

It might be cool. How to break a birfield....

Flip the Switch!!!!!

Well regardless it sure would be cool up until and including when it grenaded. :D:D:D

All joking aside, if a Honda motor can handle it, I am sure that the block on the 2F would be fine. I have a buddy who ran a 50 shot, on his civic, then a 100 shot, and then some gawd awful creation on there that he clamed was twice what it was before, plus jackson racing super charger.........and :nuke: That was entertaining. :D:D

Do a search in the General Section there was a guy asking about adding a turbo to his propane set up a few weeks ago. All kinds of people crawled out of the wood work with experience. :D:D:D

i suppose, depending on what you're running, you shouldnt have too much trouble unitl you get traction, then you break anything you want!!

ummm as for 200+HP we got that on a (far from stock) 2F, very thirsty, but no turbo, no NOS and 200HP, not for long, and not really reliable, in fact relaibility was new bearings at oil change, and a town south of the rio grande, but all the same, it was a :smokin: 2F,

but your turbo and NOS should be good for well over that!
with tuned manifold, and free exhaust, lotsa fuel, big holley, ported, oversized pistons, cam grind, bigger valves, lotsa head work, just get it flowin

I was told the weak link with the F or 2F as far as performance
mods are concerned, is with the cast iron crank shaft and only
4 main bearings. Anyone have any idea if this is true or not?

From what I have seen as long as you keep the R's under 4000 most of hte time you shoudl be okay. Balancing the motor is also very important. The 2F will never rev all that much but hell, it revs better than my powerstroke and that has 230hp and 520ft/lbs of torque!!!
