I, regrettably, have to sell my diesel toyota project. I need to get tuition together.
It is a 1984 Factory toyota diesel (not conversion). 2.4L N.A. diesel engine. Frame has been shortened ~9" and boxed. The bed is bobbed 18".
Suspension consists of dodge 1/2 ton rear springs, wagoneer fronts, front axle perches are drilled to relocate the front axle another 1.5" forward for better approach angle. Rear u-bolts are flipped Extended brake lines throughout.
The grey interior is clean and has an aftermarket Grant steering wheel. Comes with a bolt-in roll cage and CD deck w/ speakers that haven't yet been installed. Seats are brown from an '84 4runner and need to be mounted as well. Glass is in good condition.
The engine is complete but has spun a rod bearing. I have located a rebuild kit for it or I have connections in Canada that can secure a running replacement engine (this is the route I had planned on).
The running gear is the stock solid axle in front, and an 86+ rear axle for added width. I will include all the parts (except for the spacer) required to convert the front axle to run later model hubs, calipers and vented rotors. This adds 3" to the overall width for stability. Rear CV type driveshaft converted from 2-piece to 1-piece for better angle. Both diffs are 4.30's open.
Drivetrain includes the stock 2.4L engine and 5spd transmission. Dual transfer cases are installed using an AA 21-spline adapter and haven't even been run yet.
Steering was removed in anticipation of converting to Hysteer, but I never got around to this. For an additional $50 I can supply the IFS steering box required for this conversion.
I need to get $2000 out of this FAST or they're going to kick me out of my clases.
Thanks,
Drew
