I have verbally sold my 65 three speed. Here is the question. It was converted to floor shift some time ago. The buyer does not want the floor shift components due to his column shift(he has a 1962). It is my understanding that if I put the unit in neutral and remove the tower before sending it to him, he can put his tower on. All three speed cases are the same right? Is that correct? Are there any yea buts out there. Please help before we create problems.

Thanks, Mike

Oh yea! Got my 420 in yesterday!!!!! GRRRRRRR Clank! REERWREERWWREEW. That is the sound of first gear at an idle. I know it is not new to most of you but ai love the sound!

Been there done that, well other direction but anyways....yes, they are interchangable. No butts.

Also, that column shift is worth between $25 and $40 to someone, so don't just toss it!

Aahhh....the sweet sound of granny mating to straight cut gears....pure music!
