I'm cutting a channel in it for gear clearance and I'm only going to put one bolt in the bottom of the cover. I've got to move one of the other bolt holes as I'm 2/3 into the existing one. Easy 4x4runner 01-31-2002, 11:03 AM i thought gears were surface hardened. Do they get much weaker if you grind them?
