Just looking for some ideas on some leaf springs. I don't feel like spending $$$ on nationals. What are some good springs to swap into EB's. SOmething that won't require modifying my stock mounts...but will give me flex.

I don't know of any springs that you can use with your stock hangers.

One option is to use F150 leafs with a hanger kit from Bent & Twisted in Chico. I've been told they work great and that's what I'm getting ready to do in the next couple of weeks.

You can also try Wildhorses in Stockton. They carry a line of top quality springs.

Good luck!

Only places I know that make the springs are national and WH ( well WH doesn't make them, but they're not nationals) I have also heard of several local places to get them made here in CO, so I would assume there are places out by you to get them made too. whatever way you go, if you go new they are going to be close to $350 anyways..... for used, I haven't heard of anything that is a straight swap.

ok - I so know rancho, rough country, skyjacker, etc makes springs too - but if you prefer to not bruse your kidneys, I'd stay way from them.

Stock Bronco rear springs actually flex pretty good. If you free up the front, change the rear shock mounting to take advantage of what they are capable of giving you might be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah...I dinked with the stock leafs a few times...I know my problem is the shock location. I plan to mount the inboard. Only problem is trying to get some lift without a billion leafs...
