My new heep has a swapped in 700R4 in it, I've never messed with auto trannys before, let alone one of these. I found a vent tube coming off of the bell housing at the 12 o'clock position, and extended it to the top of the firewall, is there another vent anywhere that I need to extend? Lots of water on the local runs here in jersey and I know autos dont like H2O.

Thanks.

Nope no other vents. Make sure the cooler lines are conected if they're not being used. Also make sure the dipstick housing is sealed.

btw...not a great tranny for the mud.

Yeah you probably couldn't find a worse tranny for beating on it in the mud. Get a TH 400.

The 6 cylinder, full width 60's and 37's arent the hot ticket for mud running either. :flipoff2: Rig is a crawler but must be multi purpose, just making sure I dont miss anything to protect what I already have.

Thanks for the tip on the dipstick tube NH, I didnt think of that and will check it. Who runs an auto without a cooler tho?
