Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Did you unscrew the piston all the way out of the caliper and boot? If so, you are in for a huge PITA getting it back together. If not, just read the directions on this page and you should be fine.

They're a PITA. I messed with them for weeks before I got them working good.

Here's the best info I can give you...I don't remember everything since it was 2 years ago or so that I used them. Get the parkling lever off and get that bolt/stud unscrewed all the way(not out, I hope this makes sense), also compress the piston. Then put your lever on, don't touch. Mount it over the rotor, and push the parking brake lever forward, then pull it back and go forward...basically ratcheting the lever until the piston moves out and contacts the rotor. At this point do your bleeding, once that is done hook up the e-brake cables and you should be set.

The biggest mistake that I always made was trying to bleed them without getting the parking brake setup...and it got me no where. Once I learned I needed to ratchet the parking brake lever and then bleed, they worked 500% better. The steps I wrote may vary a little bit but you should get the general idea...I hope this helps!

What do you use these brake set-up for?? I'm only asking because I could get a set cheap.

I am using them on my YJ's 9 inch rear for a disc setup. I machined down the axle flange to fit inside some late model CJ rotors. I purchased a weld on bracket from A&A Manufacturing for $6.11 each. (http://www.aa-mfg.com) part number: AA-113-A.

Dude, sweet price on the setup. I paid something like $299 for new rotors and the brackets from TSM. Now I just feel stupid seeing as though I own a welder and everything. I am DEFINATELY book marking that A&A site. Good luck. Try the gravity bleed method as described on the TSM page. It took me several bleeds before I got good pedal.

Sean,

Where you been?

I'm doing the same setup as insayn. Eldo calipers were 35 bucks from PNP including the brackets! I'm using K1500 6 lug rotors (12 inch) . I was wondering about bleeding the things, this sounds like good advice.

Almost done with the front axle, shafts for the rear are on the way to. I'll be ready by April for the AZ trip.....are we still on?
