Do you have the e-brake cables hooked up?
The pistons are ratcheting and adjust by use of the e-brake.
If you don't have the e-brakes hooked up you should just be able to pull on the lever a few/bunch of times to adjust them.
The holes in the piston also have to be ingaged with the little nubs on the pads so the piston does not spin...Good luck.

I've heard that this is a common problem with the caddy rears. When they are remanufactured, part of the e-brake assembly is rarely rebuilt. This is just heresay, but something to look into. Hopefully someone will chime in regarding the rebuild problem.

Like was said above, hook up the e-brake and try them. When I did mine, they felt out of adjustment. However, they have always worked great.

Ebrake is hooked up but doesn't have any movement at all. I will tear it all down Sunday and try it again. I have removed the lever and tightened the 9/16 nut under neath until tight and that didn't work. I am going to gravity bleed it and make sure ALL the air is out of the piston seeing the bleeder is at a 45* downward angle.

Try tapping on the caliper(with a small hammer),while moving the park brake arm back and forth. If that dose not work take the park brake arms off.Tighten 9/16 nut with a box wrench, untill brakes drag.If you cannot get to adjust you will need to replace pistion/actuators.Make shure you have springs between pistion and caliper housing, will not work with out.

I thought, at first, my salvage yard calipers were bad so I bought a remanufactured set from the parts house and turned the salvage parts in as a core. SO...technically these bastards better work. I won't be able to get to it till Sunday, but greatly appreciate all the advice.

I have these on my 14bolt on my TJ. They were a PITA to figure out. There is definatly more to it that just tightening the nut.

There are some good instuctions here:

Adjusting TSM brakes (http://tsmmfg.com/Troubleshooting.htm#2)

That helped me, but it still took me a while to get it figured out. Once you do though, they work GREAT.

I always thought to bleed a caliper properly the bleeder needs to be pointing up, not down...

It does. If they are not, you should remove or repostion the caliper so it is. After bleeding, reinstall or reposition the caliper.
