Hi, I have a 1971 EB with about a 2 inch lift on it (it is an old rancho lift that came on it, not sure of height). The motor is not in the best shape, but it runs smoothly. When I start moving either forward or back, the bronc shakes violently. once i give it enough gas and ease the clutch out very slowly, the shaking stops. Could this be a loose transmission mount or what?
Thanks

Get under there and see what's loose. Tcase, u-joints, motor mounts, suspension, etc.

rear main leak?
oil in the clutch can make it shake like mad.

My Nissan 300zx did the same thing. Clutch and flywheel were shot.
