: np 208 adaptor same for th350 as 700r? BlueBeast 01-29-2002, 08:58 PM is ther any difference in these? is the output shaft the same length on both trannies. the whole reason i ask is i have a th350/208 set up in my pickup and would like to put in a 241 so i could get a sye and lower low range jekbrown 01-30-2002, 11:22 AM the 700 has the same spline count, but a longer output shaft....i know cause I am trying to setup a np205 behind my 700r4...and the adapter that came with my 205 is for a 350....so i will need a new adapter, or a spacer of some kind. hope it helps! I would think that kinda info would be on AA site somewhere. AFA putting a 205 behind a 700....I am looking into having a local machine shop guru making a spacer for me, that oughta solve the problem. If you were interested in such a spacer, lemme know, J | |
