Hi all, i have had my ford truck for about 3 years now.
its an ext cab pickup 3/4 ton 4x4
the body is in great shape, i had new floor boards put in last year.
professionally installed
my father in law needs a p-u for work, and he wants to trade me for his 79 jimmy. I like his truck alot but i dont know much about chevys. what should i look out for?
also, he has spent alot more on his truck than i have on mine, except everything done to mine was in the last 3 years.
he has been spending on his truck for as long as ive known him (10 years approx)
what do y'all think?

good deal, for him..A 74 ford 3/4 ton 4x4 ext cab is worth way more man...

10 bolt axles...CRAP so are 12 bolts
Why has he been putting so much money into it, cause it sucks! :D
Keep your truck it is a better vehicle all the way around, could you really live with going to a 1/2 ton from a 3/4 ton, the ford you have is pretty much bullet proof!

I traded him for a week, and i screwed up and said father in law, its my step dad, always getting them two titles mixed up.
hes my father by law, hah, whatever.
we traded for a week and i do like the jimmy, for parking. but WTF is with the foggy back window, i cant see sheeoot out of it.
so although it steers tighter than my ford, it sucks cuz i cant see out the back of the thing.

DONT DO IT!!!!!! You will be so sorry if you do! I would never trade my ford for anything!! Stick with what works man!! If your going to drive a chevy then dont forget to put the :rainbow: sticker on the back window.:D
