Hey Red FJ, where are you at in MD? I just called Potomac Steel in Cumberland MD and they are getting me prices and I will let you know what's up. If you are looking at bending let me know, I have a JD2 and I am doing exo on the 83 and bumpers for both trucks this spring early summer.

I also am getting a bender/nothcer and will be wrapping the LC in tube. Not sure how yet though. I am in Southern MD, near Pax River, make plans for the April Big Dogs Event in Gore VA. Will be there gettin' it!

A few weeks ago 1.5x.125 DOM was going for about $2.77, thats wholesale. Depending on the amount we buy it can run as much as $5 per foot for the 1.5" and as much as $7 per foot for the 2.125x.188 ...:)

I just found a place in MD that will sell it for $3 a foot for 100'. that was 1 3/4 OD .1196 wall which is just about as close to 120 you will get. If Convertayota goes in with me it will probably be less than that. The more the better. Yes I will try to make it to the Big Dogs this year. I have to get this 83 beast finised before that. My 93 is still IFS:barf: That will change this summer though. :D

For tube in DC don't waste your time with Potomac Steel, their prices are high and there customer service really sucks. They are good for drops and that's about it.

Try: Posner Industries in Chantilly VA (703) 631-3313, Circle Track Racing Supplies in Winchester VA (540) 869-0800 has good prices and will order 2" ERW or DOM.

Also: Stock Car Products Inc, (804) 232-3500 - but, the last time I was there they only had 1.75 tube. With the new rules for this season they might be able to get 2" as I hear it now requiered for the main halo hoop.

http://www.swracecars.com/ is a great source and they are up in PA. Great prices on stuff and they sell prebent cages - but not for Toyota :(

Also, speed unreasonable sells 6' sticks from I hear, but I have not been there in 10 years.

Last time I was in Posner they said they could get 2" structural tube no problem...that might be your best bet here in NOVA

Let me know what kind of price they give you. I need some for a project that I want to redo and my friend jason needs some as well. I sold all of the tube that I had laying around to make room for other stuff in my shop. Six months later, I need some more. Go figure.

Here in Utah I can pick up 1.75" .120 wall DOM for 1.81/ft in 17ft lengths and the same in HREW for 1.42/ft and thats not wholesale:eek::D

If you want some tubing let me know when you need it. a few of us are getting about 250 feet as of now but the more we get the better price we will be able to get. We plan on getting it in a couple of months. Let me know. Jeff
