: Original "new" CJ7 for sale ads?
1MutCJ7 01-30-2002, 08:05 AM I was thinking that I have never seen a completely original CJ7. I've seen some that are close, but usually people will at least swap the wheels.
I got to thinking that it would be interesting to see some jeep ads from the late 70's or early 80's that also listed the price. Anyone have pics or links?
Cutter 01-30-2002, 08:43 AM i've got a wall full of framed ads in my office, but none of the CJ's list price. Here's a small part...

I don't have any pics but one my best friend's grandfather has an 84 CJ-7 that he one in a raffle. It has mostly sat in his garage ever since and has less than 9000 miles on it. Completely original and drives like a new truck. He won't sell it either.
DanCJ 01-30-2002, 09:26 AM I see ads on ebay for Jeeps occasionally, can't remember if they list prices or not.

Can I come live in that room. I was born shortly cutting teeth when they ended the era of the CJ but i have been in love with them ever since I saw Daisy duke in her Eagle. My wife gives me a hard time cuz whenever we go to swap meets and such I look for old pictures and adds. Embossed signs and the like.
Where did the flag come from?
:flipoff2::flipoff2: I salute you oh rock god.
And to all those who think this is a newbie kissing ass:flipoff: what I can see of that room kicks ass.

RickyR 01-31-2002, 06:02 AM Funny, I bought a "new" 1979 CJ-5. The only options it had was a 304 and a rollbar. No P/S or P/B . Not even a top. We got a top/door set from someone else. I think it was around $4000 or so. We ended up trading my 1975 CJ for it and $1700, I think...
What memories that brings back.........
Ricky...seeya...
