Has anyone heard of a T-18-1b? The add that I seen says it has a granny low, but is this right?
I tried search, but nothing came up, but there was over 5 pages just for t-18.

Jeep used a model T-18a in 77-79 CJ5s, it had a 6:34 to 1 granny low 1st gear. They also used a model T-18 from 72 - 76 that had a 4:02 to 1 1st gear. There's also a popular t-18 used in Fords that is commonly swapped into jeeps. It's 1st was even lower than the t-18a I believe. As far as I know there is no such thing as a T-18-1b.

From Jefe's Website (http://homepage.mac.com/jefe/gear.html)
T18B (H) 4.32/2.26/1.51/1.00/5.08R Ford '65-85
Don't know if this is what the Ad was selling or not. There is also:
T18C (H) 4.02/2.41/1.41/1.00/4.73 R Jeep '65-85, IHC '69-73-T44/T45
This is the one that was in CJs from '72-'75
There are no versions of the T-18 that are lower than the T-18a. The T-98 (which is basically an early version of the T-18) has a slightly lower first gear at 6.40 but that's it.
