The mining areas in Blackwood, PA are apparently being taken over by PA State Game Commission and the DEP. Motor vehicles are being banned from the area and pipe gates are being installed at popular entrance points. Fines are being issued to person found on the land using any type of ORV.

Once the Game Commision take control of the land it will be completely closed to motor vehicles as is the case with all the land they own/control. I buy a hunting license every year so they can take the money, buy up land and close it to my Jeep. :(

PA Game Commision needs to change it's policy on vehicle access to it's lands!

Man, it must suck to be in PA right now. I got an email recently from a guy complaining about similar closures on land that is owned by a couple power companies and is now being administered by the game commission. I have been checking into that situation with very little cooperation.

In case anyone would like to see what's in Lavelle, take a look in a Quadratec catalog. Most of the pics were taken there.
