go full width.

If your worried about the width, get rims with more backspacing..

I got a friend with a 88 ranger with the box bronco style 44 the wms difference i believe is 10" the box is 56 and the f150 i believe is 66" but I am not exactly sure on that measurement. The frame lined up nice for the drop downs but he chucked them for custom ones so he could get 12" of lift. He is actually parting the truck out right now. I dont know what he is looking for as for parts but i can ask or he is cool enough that if you wanted to check out he could get pics. he was running 44's on there had to do some cuts to the fender and bumber area to clear but it wheeled

I agree go fullwidth and get skinner with different rims, that leaves you more options later

What size rim is needed to clear the brakes and steering on an F-150 dana 44? I know a 17" rim will clear but what about a 15" or a 16" rim.
