A few words that won't even begin to cover all of the people I'd like to thank:

The entire Klein family...it's impossible to write all of the awesome things about you. For what you are giving to us, you deserve much more in return and I know we all hope to see that return grow in 2005...THANKS so much!

Lil Rich, an extra kudos to you for that great courses...you did way more with that small area of rock than I though was possible. Congrats on a job well done!

Pat, Johnie, Shane, and Scott...it was obvious how much you are appreciated, simply by listening to the amount of teams thanking you, . Thanks for making us all look so good! To anyone reading this, if you don't own a film from RP Films, you're NOT a real wheeler :flipoff2:

Mustard Dog...Jumping in front of me is not exactly the smartest thing but you proved to be just as dumb as Jody by volunterring to spot for me. I was stoked to work with you and man, for as much rock as you moved, you should be re-named to BullDozer! Thanks a ton for coming out and keeping an awesome attitude through those tough courses...sorry we only got to play one day!

To all of the awesome volunteers and judges, thanks so much for dedicating you time to our sport. We all know it was a tough weekend but you all made it so much easier and nicer with your great support.

Mark Berger...that final attack on the bonus made my whole weekend. Congrats on a great finish to a great season...I'm sorry Garrett had to be on the sidelines as he deserved to be there with you, but you couldn't have had a better stand-in as Joachem and you sure pulled it off well.

Tracy...I thought you were going to save the buggy for SuperCrawl? :flipoff2: ? I am glad you made the right decision on that last one...that piece of media will be timeless and will raise the sponsorship value of your team by a BIG amount.

Jack from CTM, you're awesome!

Hal, YOU ASS!!! I told you to shrink-wrap that perfect buggy!!! Now seriously, I am sorry to see that happen but am stoked at the great attitude you had after that rollover. Many people would have been pointing fingers and/or angry with themselves for trashing a rig that badly but you had a smile the whole time and that speaks volumes about you.

Jason Paulie, there's a reason you're still at the top of my hero list. Superspot (Trav), that comment apples to you too as the teamwork between both of you is just amazing.

Cathy Crook, it was said a ton at the event, but your hard work has turned that Stock Mod class into somthing so much more fun...congrats and keep it up!

Bender, someday you're ganna eat shit on one of those 10 mile long wheelies...keep it up cause I wanna see it :D

Kelly Clifford, you are the definition of a STUD...with boobs of course! It was great to see you out there going for it.

Did anyone thank Jack from CTM???

Dallas, thanks for hanging out and offering help on Sunday...I hope it works out that you can go to SuperCrawl.

Jason Sherer, as always, you are an ambassador to our sport and a great driver to boot. I hope you have as much success in this sport as you do in the porno industry...no wait, I hope you find the same success in rockcrawling as you have in Pelican...

To all of the stock mod competitors, WOW, I'm blown away and send congrats on competing the obstacles that you did...I figured only two of the obstacles on Saturday were doable by more than one person...I'm in awe at how well all of you drove considering the rigs vs terrain!

Krusty, thanks for the winching :D wish you didn't have to but thankfully, you were there when we needed you.

Amanda, thanks for the Jello shots...we're sorry that Doug kept you all to himself :flipoff2:

Somebody that hasn't been thanked enough is Jack from CTM...he has changed the face of this sport with his axles and u-joints.

Jody, congrats on spanking me...HARD.

Dean Bulloch and Karl Munford...once again you have shown everyone that slow, smooth, and precise can beat out the throttle. Congrats on your skill and ANOTHER win.

Vodoo, Where are we? What day is it? Who am I? Glad you're alright and thank GOD you missed that super fast judge! Whoever that judge was, he needs to be in the Olympics for something!

Mike and Troy, wow, outta nowhere...you speech at the awards says it all and people had better take notice!

Peter Mazonni, the same goes for you...yes, the car Shaffer built was obviously great but you definitly drove it like a champion.

Jack from CTM, you rock...not even a bear could scare you!

Finally, to Becca and Frank. Congratulations on a great season. We all wish Sunday would have gone as well as Saturday but still, you did a great job this weekend and all season. Dean and Karl as well as Bob and Tom are all top competitors withing this sport in ANY class. To be able to be right in there with them is an awesome feat and I am proud of you both. I wish you the best of luck at SuperCrawl.

Yes, I am sure I missed people...I'll be back to add to this list, but right now, I gotta go unload the carnage from the trailer!

CalRocs, Thanks for an AWESOME 2004 season!

Oh, and CTM Jack...oh, forget it...

Dustin, its people like YOU and the other competors that gives me the courage to drive the Krustoy thru Death Valley and back, just to be a small part of the weekends event.
Cracked a frame on one winch pull of your BETTER half-- (welded up by Team Schaffer and BFG Support) ---- and wore out a winch cable !!!!!!!
The best weekend I've had in a LONG time !!

just a thought-- if those drivers would learn to drive-- they wouldn't need me for recovery !!!!! whatcha think ???

Wow, I didn't know that and Becca said she had not heard either...sorry and thanks all in the same sentence.

(welded up by Team Schaffer and BFG Support)

Two awesome things...ProPit (Bob Sr., Jack, and Rusty) and Team Shaffer...thanks guys!

just a thought-- if those drivers would learn to drive-- they wouldn't need me for recovery !!!!! whatcha think ???
Then you'd have no reason to come...who wants to watch 50 rigs spank all 10 courses?

all this carnage and Krusty still says "The best weekend I've had in a LONG time !!"

That's why you're still my favorite Bender! Though Mustard Dog did some catchin up this weekend :D

although I went out to announce, the rich's needed me to judge so that's where I ended up. and, if I'm not mistaken, I had the most difficult course out there (b2). only 2 people made it through (pete and mark), jason paulie busted, tracy destroyed his rear end and put on an awesome show for about 3 minutes, troy gave it hell, and hal almost killed me ( ) and 4 or so other people in his double endo/roll.

lil rich, thanks for the awesome courses all year. it really kept me interested and I don't think there was one even that was too easy nor one too hard (although the finals came close :p ).

the rest of the klein family, thanks for all the hard work and dedication you put into the sport.

megan, happy birthday.

braddy, thanks for bustin yer ass and constantly runnin water/food/whatever up to us judges/announcers all year.

finally, I just wanna say thanks to each and every competitor. without you, regular guys like me wouldn't be able to come out and enjoy this great sport.

Everyone that helping out in anyway, thanks. Everyone pulled double duty this weekend, and without any of you, none of it would have been possible. Big Time thanks to those that volunteered, bigger thanks to those that were volunteered and stuck with us.

On Top of the thanks for everyone, I would especially like to thank the teams that gave us a chance this year. Sure I set the courses, but it is you guys that make them wheelable. Your the ones that make everyone else say, "Shit, some can actually drive that?" Thanks once again it has been a pleasure working with you guys all year. And I hope to see all of you and more next year.

Does anyone else realize that Lil Rich is going to be a fuggin rockstar in a few years when this sport explodes in popularity? I mean, he sets the sickest courses, he's cool as hell and no one can F*** with this kid. He is going to be THE man.

All of us at the magazine are just happy you fools show up to operate the skinny pedals and give us great content! See ya in 2005, but watch the pages of XOM for pics of your ugly mugs! Congrats to those with trophies and much love to those without, you all kicked ass this year, and we have photo evidence!!

Steve N email me about what we talked about....

Someone brought this up this last weekend...how many other young guys have the respect of the major players in this sport as Lil Rich does? Heck, I can't think of any older guys that get the same respect...no joke, one of the most respected people in this sport and how old is he???

Scout Dude

He's 31 when he "borrows" my ID :p

they say, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all...

well i don't have much nice to say right now...

but i would like to thank a few people anyhow.

the judges, though one needs to learn how to use a stopwatch :flipoff2:
the rich's, after all they did put it on!
recovery... without them my ex-pile of shit would still be sitting on flat ground double diffed :shaking:
Pro Pit... even though jack's pissed at me for not coming out sunday and running, i did definatly apreciate all the help to get the rig mechanically back in shape... to bad the wiring's fucked past recognition!
Jack @ CTM... with as bad as i was wedged on A5 i think any other axle would have broken... (i think mine's twisted though)
Jess @ high angle... that new front shaft got chewed so bad by my control arm and the rock on A5 that it might need new ears on it. but it's still alive!
Jason Scherer, Mike Shaffer, Todd Little, Dean Bullock, and Bob Standage, for all assisting in the recovery of my rig on A5 thank you for the help and keeping me calm enough to stay IN the rig...

Why is this my first post? Because I felt compelled to tell all of you that particpated in the Beatty event just how awesome your are! The wife and I drove up from San Diego to watch our 3rd Calroc competition. While Boulevard and Courgar Buttes were incredible, the courses on that volcanic stuff in Beatty were unbeliveable. Everyone did a spectatular job and my hat's off to the skill, equipment and competitiveness of all the teams. Although we only got to stay for Saturday, we had a blast and for that I say thanks. CALROCS rocks! Can't wait for next season to begin.
