So those of you who had a 4Runner SAS or IFS and now run an 80.....
1. Do you feel there is a big difference in stability on 35s between the two trucks?
2. Do you feel the added body width of an 80 is a problem / restrictive on trails?
3. Do you miss the lighter weight and smaller body?
If it was not your DD what would you build?

I had both and went back to the 4Runner.
1. Not a big difference in stability
2. 80's are HUGE on tight trails compared to a mini truck/1st gen 4Runner
3. I did, thats why I sold the 80 and am back in a 1st gen Runner.

It also depends on where you wheel. My 80 felt huge over in Oregon because the trails were tight with trees. In Moab and on most of the Idaho trails I feel OK about the size of the 80. Once you do a little body damage to the 80 everything gets skinnier. You can start doing trails that you thought you'd never fit on.
