1GMC4x4 10-05-2004, 02:01 AM I want to get a locker for my D60 and I wanted you guys' input on which one I should get. the ones I know of are the OX, ARB, and Detroit E-locker I like the E-loker because it's a limited slip when unloked. what do you guy think is best, what other ones are out there? 4x4Poet 10-05-2004, 09:12 PM By E-locker do you mean the Tractech Electrac? Ya, its the best for a D60: Strong, full lockup on command, and Trutrac style ltd slip unengaged as you said. Great ltd slip for slow rockcrawling steering ease and for highway snow driving–safe, seamless. Only draw backs are the big price tag and the vulnerable switch integral to the cover with a its small vert armor plate that hangs a corner down some to catch on stuff. Armor cover's corner can be trimmed and still protect the switch. I have a TruTrac in my TravelAll's rear D60. Works great up here on snow covered roads. For my favorite Sub's front D44, I want the Electrac. :smokin: :grinpimp: | |
