Don't really know where to put this.......I have a 47 willys delivery wagon and I'm trying to find out what the hell the status on the title is. It has no plate on the driverside inner doorframe and it has a plate inside that says Delware special vehicles and I have the body and trim patch off of the firewall. the more i think about how the hell can you run it without the vin??? will the Deleware SV tag work or the body number??? someone help me out here

I've seen those state tags before but not delaware, and that was what replaced the vin. Usually in the case of a stolen recovery, swapped vin etc.

call the dmv...i have done it a few times over the phone...
