I have an '84 Chevy 2wd ( my tow rig ) that I am considering converting to 8 lug.

Reason: I have found a 14 bolt to put in rear instead of the 10 bolt and I have found front spindles, calipers, ect.. from a 3500 series chevy to convert the front to 8 lug.

Question: on the front will it all be able to change and still work? IE: ball joints, steering, etc.. or will I have to put everything from the 3500 under mine.

You will need the lower control arms because of the ball joint, the center link is differrent, might be easier if you could get the whole assy/x-member.
