My girls 93 S10 Blazer's passenger window motor went out. I pulled the panel off but the motor looks riveted to the door. I just need to disengage the glass off the motor so I can prop it up.
I tried s10forums.com with no help. Any other ones?

www.gm-trucks.com Nice people, and none of the "You shoulda searched first" stuff.
www.fullsizechevy.com Don't really know, not a member there.

For basic stuff like that theres nothing better than going out and buying yourself a Chiltons manual. They have pictures and no matter what your skill level (beginner-professional) they can come in handy. Should be able to get them at any book store and alot of auto parts dealers have them too.
I actually have a Haynes manual and it doesn't much help at all on the subject.
cant remember the address but search for"chevy blazer owners club"
it is primarily s10 stuff.

you can punch out the rivets (small punch and ball peen) drill the rest of the rivet out. then get the glass into whatever position you need to unbolt it.
Is there another way to unhook the glass off the motor to just prop it up besides drilling it out?
