: 1" Body Lift ? 1996 GMC S-15 Jimmy 2wd

I just put some 235/75R-15 Wranglers on the Lil Jimmy 2wd and the front tires rub slightly. I'm thinking a 1" body lift will cure this (?). I can't find anything in a 1" lift so I was thinking about drilling out 4 Hockey Pucks (1 for each mount) to get a little lift.
Do Ya'll think this will work? Maybe a stack of large flat washers OR is there a better way to go without spending too much ?
All the 2" Lifts I've come accross are in the $80.00+ range - including bumper brackets. This is more lift than I need ~ I think???

Am I screwing up with my cheap lift idea?? ~ Thanks, Dan LeMond

LOL!! I know SAWZALL well :smokin:
I have 6 1/2" lifted Cherokee w/ lot's of stuff :D Lots of SAWZALL work ~ maybe too much on one fender :shaking:

I just want to lift my kid's Jimmy as much as I can without having to move bumpers, etc.
We are thinking about going with hockey pucks because that's all we know  I was hoping someone might have an
other ideas or that someone has done something simular that worked good.

Sure would appreciate any ideas ~ If none I will report later on about how the pucks work out.

Ya'll Be Safe (or don't get caught) ~ Dan :cool2:

Hockey puks are a bad idea, they weather and crack and then your cab falls all funky.... $80 bucks Isnt that bad for the assurance that your shit wont fall off....
