I am going to get it painted by Maaco or somebody, but I want to keep the price down by doing all the prepping and priming myself, so all they have to do is spray down some paint. Thanks. I sprayed the new windshield frame then had glass installed. So I have two pieces left to do, the passenger fender(previous accident) and the hood. I found a guy near me who'll sell me a hood for $75. I was gonna sand it down and do all the annoying stuff myself, so I could keep the overall price low. I want the paint to look really nice, because if it looks crappy, it'll make my whole Jeep look bad. You will need Primer ( get one that is thick so you have to do less body work, High gap fill) Filler putty (not bondo, and get a spreader if you dont have one) 600 grit wet dry sand paper Prepsol (this will remove any wax or oils that would cause paint to not stick).
