Like the title says I'm looking to buy a 93 3500 6.5 ltr. Disel PU. crew cab long bed, 4x4. Is there anything in particular that I should look for in this truck? Does this model year have problems?

92-93 TD models have a mechanical injector pump. It's much more durable than the electronic pump in 94-up that needs constant replacement.
92-93's also have different rearends than the other dually's not 100% sure about what the difference is, but pretty sure it is narrower. So if you bang it up, its a bit harder to replace.

I own a '93 K3500 single wheel, I've had quite a few issues. But from asking around I believe mine are pretty isolated.

I've had turbo problems (3 replacements), tranny problems with the 4l80e (4th), and issues with cracking the heads. All taken care of my GM.

The one thing I would find out 1st before you buy is if the injector pump has been replaced.

They are good trucks. I'd love to have a crewcab 2x of that vintage thats in really good shape.

I'd love to have a 6.5L TD/4l80e 88-98 body style GM. That would be sweet to use that is a drivable wheeling rig. (sas'd of course)
