I am going to be in the market for some tires in the near future. First i was just going to get some 35 12.5 15 MTR's, but then a friend suggested 37's. I had my heart set on a set of 37 12.50 15 SSR's, but when i got to thinking about it that's a really tall tire, and about the same width as my 33's. I found a that the TSL SX's have a 38.5 14.50 15. and i think that tire would make me happier. but i don't really know all that much about the SX's

I really don't drive my Tacoma on the road much anymore, cept for a quick drive here and there. and i am going to have to wack my fenders to fit 37's so i figure why not 38.5? they can't be that much bigger, plus it's a 14.5 so it's a little wider... I don't have a tow rig (yet) so i do need to be able to drive it to and from the runs, plus i am going to be taking it to Vegas this spring...

What do you guys think???

What gears are you running?

sure, go for it, but be carefu with that front 44. The 38 may want to take that u-joint and spit it out when you least expect it to happen.
