Hey, I have a dana 70 rear end out of an 84 Dodge 1 ton truck. I need to know if parts on the dodge dana are interchangeable with a ford dana? My housing is damaged, but my center chunk and brakes are completely rebuilt. I need to know if I can install them on a 77 Ford dana housing from an F350?
Also, anybody know whats the widest dana 70 rear end there is? What vehicle it would have come stock in? My project is a 49 Dodge Route Van, sort of a step van delivery truck. It's set up on the 84 Dodge chassis, 440/727, a big truck street rod/tow vehicle. Thanks for your help, very cool forum.
