Where did you get those spacers, and how much narrower did the hummers wheels make your truck are did they. I have a set of Military hummers wheels with 38" TSL SX'x on them and am planning on running them.

Hey that looks good. I was concidering that with my YJ but dont know if the 7.5in backspacing will work with the cab and chassis 14bolt. Maybe if I ran full width stuff. But I will end up with a 16in beadlock rim with 37in boggers

Lookin Bad ass! You might have some problems with the tire still rubbing though. When I mounted my MRT rims mine had about that much clearance and just from me driving the tire was flexing enough to rub pretty bad on the heim joint (steering) I had to put a 1.5" spacer on each side, problem solved.

i had a local machinist make these, they are steel and cost me $120 (without studs)

i was running 16 x 7" wheels that i changed the backspacing to about 5", so the overall trackwide really didn't change much on my YJ. (except i'm not running the adaptors on the rear, so my front it not 3" wider that the rear......

looks sweet!

i have a question about hummer rims. i have asked about this in the past and never gotten an answer. anyway here it goes. has anyone had trouble with the hummer wheel studs? the two piece wheel design has the nuts with the threads sticking out on the outside of the wheel. it seems to me the threads would get munched by rock in a short amount of time. i guess one could cut the stud off so that the threads are even with the end of the nut and would prevent this. i don't know. it is just an observation.

High5 my buddy has hummer wheels with 42's on his scout, he's who i got my hummer wheels and 38's from and he did snag the studs on rocks and stuff acouple of times he has since doubled up the nuts, he still snags stuff but atleast he can save the threads with the extra nuts, the studs are pretty strong he has never broke one just messed up the threads.

i haven't wheeled mine yet, but i don't think cutting the studs down is a good idea, (because they are needed to pull the 2 piece wheels together, my tires are 15.5" wide and i had to sqeeze the wheel halfs together just to get the nuts started.

but what TERRA-IZER said about double nutting them to save the threads sounds like a great idea to me......

i also seen something [b]W.C.[b] said somewhere, about someone selling "thick rings" to weld on the wheel edges to save them.......

Well this answers a question I posted a week ago with no response, kind of.

What is the thickness of the spacer? looks to be about an inch??? So effectivly you have 6.5" of backspacing??? Thanks, Bob

EDIT: Oh Ok I see it now DOH!!! So effectively 6".

To protect the outer lip of the outer rig, they do get messed up by rocks, my buddy took some 3/8 rod bent it around a 15" rim and it springs right into the hummer outer lib and welds it, he now has no problems tearing outer rings up, i wish he would have thought that up before he sold mine to me, mine or bent pretty bad.
