me not new.. n'm u guys.. i'm looking for hi steer arms.. and i'm not gettin all pro's or ott's.. i'm looking for a good company to get 'em from.. the rest of the steering is taken care of 'cept for a decision on what pump and who's kit to use or how to fab it to mount it...

If your going to be using the FJ40 axle up front be prepared to have to possibly cut and turn the steering knuckles to eliminate bumpsteer, death wobble, compensate for pinion angle and accomadate larger tires. To be quite honest money might be better spent correcting the caster, rather than installing a high steer setup immediately.....In other words build it safe and correct first, then add on the goodies. Kerry @ SOS

rotating the knuckles will be the last step.. i'll fuck w/ that once everything else is setup and straight.. that's easy and won't take long and i won't know exactly what i want till it's hung and i know how it drives w/ the setup...

rotating knuckles costs almost nothing why would i spend $$ there?

Gee, if you've "been around" so long it seems like you would have figured out there is a Toyota Pirate board only a couple of clicks away, and with a search you would have found several vendors who sell aftermarket arms.

What, you think we're gonna make it easy on you after you come straight out with ":flipoff:" ? :rasta:

Have a , dude & lighten up!

sounds good.. i'll let u know how it works out.. what springs have u used on a zook when hangin' this axle.. mine'll just be under some yj springs... and about how high up was the pinion pointin'?

the toyota board is where i used to hang.. i know where it is.. i know of most vendors but wondering if someone's found something really sweet here.. i wanna know who LIKES what.. and i hate a search.. i get bored fast sifting thru crap that doesn't answer what i'm curious about.. i like answers specifically to me and my questions so i can re-question...

no, i don't think you're gonna make it "easy" on me after i come out w/ a gay little picture of a guy giving the bird.. but you guys tryin to be badass and tough w/ me is actually just as easy on me as anything.. u can't get under this skin on a bb...

i will have a beer.. and trust me i'm light.. i just play the game too and don't take shit like a puss... we can all talk trash.. if u think i'm a pissed off dude, i'm sorry to seem like that, cause i'm not... i'm as laid back as they come..

i know that buddy and i understand.. i appreciate it.. i guess i should have specified this is strictly a trail rig and doesn't see street... and i will rotate the knuckles if need be.. but only after all the rest is put together and i know what i got to work with.. but it's ALL gonna get done at the same time.. nothing's really coming before the other... but i gotta get the axle under there and put steering on it before i know if i wanna rotate.. that's all

i found your post about this on the lc board.. after your spring over what'd u set the pinion angle to?? i say point it right at the tcase, which i kinda assume u about did, then just grind, rotate, measure, and weld your knuckles.. you'll have the very best of both worlds... killer perfect pinion angle and positive caster to your delight.. it'll return to center like a stock truck and track straight as an arrow! all it costs ya is a grindin' wheel, and a few electrodes or a few feet of mig wire... cheap and trick!

hey buddy.. don't tell me.. i asked a question and got a lot of crap instead of answers.. i wanna talk wheelin more than anyone.. but now that everyone is postin' stuff totally related to how few posts my name has and not my question i'm firin' back... u find one post where i started talking about something other than wheelin that wasn't a direct reply to someone's slandering remarks... that's what i thought...
