What gears in a 83 3/4 ton???

I am looking at a power wagon, 83 3/4 ton 4x4. Dana 60 rear, Dana 44 front. 318 auto. This was a corps of engineers truck. Guy said it feels low geared as hell, what ratio is it?? I was thinking 4.10, did they ever put 4.56s in those from teh factory?? I know the military had chevy's with 4.56s stock, could the corps also??? THanks guys. Also, will that auto be teh 727tf??? Thanks

4.56s are possible, but 4.10s are more likely.

3.55's. I counted the dshaft turning while the tire rolled. Damn. I am making a new thread about how to convert the front end to 5x5.5. Anbody know??? Dana 44.
