howdy fellas...
i tried searching, but not a whole lot came back.
tomorrow im finishing my d60 instal by bleeding the brakes. ive got stock d30 brakes up front (not for long) and the new d60 has eldorado ('77) calipers. ive heard these can be a bitch to bleed. im not using the parking brake right now, cause after the fact, i decided to use jesses atlas ebrake.

id like to hear tips and experiences on getting these thingd dialed in, and bleeding procedures for em.
as of now, im planning on taking the calipers off, with the disks between the pads, and rotating it until the bleeder valve is at 12 oclock, and ill tap it with a rubber hammer wilst having my bro pump the brakes...tell me what else i should be doing.

thanks
~John

This was just up about a day ago... It should answer all you questions. FYI- The e-brake ratchets and keeps your pads spaced correctly( it is suppose to that is... mine doesn't!).

I would think you would have to manually adjust them all the time or crawl under and push on the e-brake lever every once in ahwile. Like I said, I have not been able to get mine to adjust with the e-brake, yet, but I'm not done fawkin with them. They will when I'm done!

The best way is to gravity bleed them..Just open the bleeders and let them drip, make sure the resivour is always full..Drip em for a hour if ya want..giving a SLOW pump to the pedal a few times helps too, no need to Pump, release, just gravity bleed em..
