i was at the offroad convention a bit ago and saw the jmr bender there it comes with stand electric over hydraulic and 3 dies for 2900 have any of you guys used or heard good or bad about this bender i was talking to the vendor about it cause i have a m-tech and he said that theirs was twice as strong and the m-tech cant be converted cause of the follower--he said you could only do air--i guess anything faster would tear it apart...is their any truth to this it so does anyone want to buy a m-tech bender? :D

Those are really nice benders. I believe they are made by Jim Mckenzie, but I am just making an assumtion. I would buy it from venders like Mckenzies performance (no relation) or if you buy direct, dont give JMR any money before you get your parts. I would also buy all the dies you think you would ever need right now, you might not be able to get any more dies down the road in case JMR is not in business anymore.

If your doing the occasional hobby cage and bumper, you shouldn't have any trouble with the M-tech. Many people have upgrade to electric hydraulic with that style of bender with no problems.
