I know a few of you have been contemplating adding either a tranny or an oil cooler, as some of the early rangies don't have oil cooling.
Saw this on trucks! of all places this weekend. Only cooler out there that I have seen that is similar in shape to the rangie tranny cooler, but what do I know?

I'm thinking it could fit in the grill area of my rangie pretty easily, right above the tranny cooler.

Don't know, no price on the website...its in their "new products" section.

The sandwich plate between the oil filter and oil pump on rovers with oil cooling...anyone know the size of the fittings? I think someone on here just replaced those lines.

I bet there BSPP fittings. British Standard Parallel Pipe. The Setrab coolers I'm getting at Pic-n-pull are BSPP. The adapters to JIC/AN are $12.00ea!

That is kind of why I was asking....as I know pendy had offered up a sandwich plate or two before.
You can get a universal fit sandwich plate from Jegs($25), but I don't know if it will fit.
Fits more than 98% of all vehicles with a spin-on oil filter, both foreign and domestic. Adapter is 1-1/2" thick and features 3/8" FPT inlet and outlet ports. Comes with bushings to fit 3/4"-16, 1-3/16"-16, 1"-12, 18x1.5mm, 20x1.5mm and 22x1.5mm engine threads. Includes O-rings and instructions.

There is an early and late style sanwich plate on the rover v8. I think OS descibed the late type.

The oil filter fittings are either BPP, or metric bump-but, I believe the threads on the casting itself are BPP and there are adapters to go to the various hoses.

If there's enough interest, I cna take pics of the two different setups.

Lastly, walk into any parts store and they all have aux coolers for ~$20 :flipoff2: But, they aren't as sexy as that one :grinpimp:
