A long time ago, Bob Levenhagen and Ant had a good discussion about how to go through a Dana 60 front end... unfortunately, it's no longer availabe through search. Or I just can't find it.
Anyone happen to save a copy of that discussion?
Other question: What size is the hub socket I'm going to need? Anyone have a Napa pn?

I can give you a parts breakdown :D I'm building my front 60 right now. I added - new full install kit for the gears (I'm using 5.13's), new oil seals, new wheel bearings and races (2 per side), new wheel seals, new spindle bearings and seals ( I got 2 spindle rebuild kits), 12 spinle studs and nuts, 2 spindle nuts and 1 lock washer per side, new teflon bushings for the kingpins - you shouldn't really worry about the kingpin bearing - its not under any speed load - but check it to be sure. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'm going to take pics and do a write up for the PBB if Lance wants it :flipoff2:
Thanks... Bob and Ant had a good discussion on how to tear down the kingping joint.
Don't suppose you can tell me where you got your hub socket - the funny pronged one? And how many prongs it is supposed to be? Four?

NAPA #2770 in the upper left hand corner of the box. Says it is used for'73 to '81 3/4 and 1 ton GM 4WD, "78 to "84 Ford F-250 and F-350. There were others there but this is the one that fit my app.
Hope this helps.
