I was thinking about lengthening the rear of the tub on my swb sami so I could gain allot of wb and use a lwb top but am not sure of the length dif
I found that the overall length of a lwb is 158" but I dont know the overall length of a swb?

um wtf, why? I do allot of snow and would like to beable to sleep in the back of it and I figure a lwb base top would be better then a fully custom one espcially since I want a hard top

What he means is the lwb hard top is geakish looking. Kinda like the two-piece swb tops but worse. Your idea is good, but the soft tops look cooler that's all.

If you "have" a swb, why do you need someone else to measure it for you  If you want to proceed with your plan, you would be better off getting a lwb top and doing your own math and measuring. If you end up even a half-inch off, you wasted your time. Don't trust us with your rig

Let me try, 13" longer wb and 13" more over hang. But like Tusker says a half inch can mean alot. :D

I think I will "look" allot cooler (warmer?) on snow runs with a hard top then with a soft top :D

Well I couldnt find a tape :flipoff2: Well really I wasnt to sure where the measurements were takin from. And I wasnt waiting for a measurement so I could go weld my sami back together I was just wanting to get an idea if I want to do this or bob the tub so it has simular space to a newer xtra cab toyota

EDIT: hey scrawfish did bryan get a hard top with your zuk when he bought it?
