I have a 89 s-blazer, and I want to get a SYE for it, saw an add for one in a rubicon express catalog, which is marketed for Jeeps, but damn isnt a 231 a 231? I need to know if it will still ride under the blazer:confused:

The SYE will work in a Jeep or Chevy 231. The JB conversion setup will even work in the 241 Tcase but it needs a different adapter plate at the speedo housing. Make sure you get the kit with the 32 spline output and not one of the "modified" stock shafts and you will not have any problems.

the SYE for the 231j will fit the 231c . I just did mine two nights ago and had no problems I got the kit from Advance Adpt. for 279.00. the only thing you have to do is remove the roller bearings from the drive sprocket.:smokin:
