Checked the bible, broke the search. Here goes:
Is an 78/9 F150 HP44 swappable into an Early Bronco? Wider? Coil/bracketry the same?
If so I have a few HP 44's to advertise :D

They can fit yes, the brackets are close, * i think* you just turn your coil buckets 180 and you can run them
as for being wider then an EB what do you think?
I don;t want to sound like too much of a dick here but i would not advertive for something that you have never done

Yes if you spin the buckets around it will be close, the easiest way is to make a new offset set. Or put a plate under them so you don't bend them.

Thanks. I wouldn't advertise it for EB's if it wasn't a bolt in... Got my reputation to uphold :D
I know the rear EB is 58". What does the front run around 60-62"?
Someone needs to ad more to the bible. Anyone know who maintains it?

(hence the Ford ?'s)
The bible has some great information. However when it comes to the Ford HP Dana 44 it's a joke , they shouldn't of even listed anything.
The 78-79 F150 (non extenda cab versions) & Broncos have a different type of axle. THe brackets are one large cast piece. If you grind one open (like I did, after everyone told me to get a 78-79) I found out the passengers side has 2 tubes! with a split under the cast! (Read axle needs to be re-tubed)
So the 78-79 F150-Bronco can't be shortened!
I don't have any clue if you could run the 78 & 79 full width axle in an EB.
