I have 10 sets available for a special price to all PBB members. This ring will lay your Dana 300 transfer case flat. Just what you need for that added ground clearance. You will not find a cheaper price anywhere. The flat rate shipping is $6 So your all looking at a grand total of $61 Where else can you gain this kind of ground clearance for $61 Thanks again for your support. Drop me a line and we'll get these coming. Shawn

Questions:
1. Are any left?
2. How thick is the clocking ring?
3. What are the degree increments?
I need to know this since ....i'm running a dodge hd nv4500 29 spline to a jeep d300 in a scout.....raysubtropical@comcast.net
thanks in advance

Also curious as to how thick they are. Needing a 7/8 ring so we don't have to trim my buddies tranny output...Awesome price, btw.

This will work and the ring is 3/8" thick, This is the only thickness we make but we could custom make ring OD/ID only from 1/2" and this would get the thickness right for you but you would have to drill the holes once you figure out where you want it clocked. Thanks Shawn

Do you need a seal extension??? I have a 727/300. I had another brand of clocking ring that was 5/16" thick and it came with a seal extension.

Greatlakeoffroad
12-18-2004, 06:14 AM
Most generally you do not. In fact no one has ever complained of this being a problem. I'm aware some of my competition sell these w/ a seal extension, however we do not. But if you do need one I can get the PN# for you, as they are realatively inexpensive. Thanks Shawn

Hey guys sorry for the no posts here lately. I have been swamped and just been replying to e-mails and PM's not actually pushing our products at the posts as my time has been limited to filling orders mostly. I appreciate all your support and as always give you guys the best pricing and priority service but please bear with me we are going through some major growing pains which we are addressing and should be pushing our sales better here very shortly. In the meantime the best way to get ahold of us is still via the e-mail which is Shawn4x4@greatlakeoffroad.com again thanks for all your support. Sincerely, Shawn

Have you considered drilling more holes in these? You could then use it on Fords and Dodges... and IFS Chevy/Dodge 231s and 241s... and Jeep 231s... and S-series Chevy 231s. They all have the same pattern but the clocking is different. With the ability to merely swap inputs on all these transfer cases to couple them to different transmissions the only thing holding you back is the factory clocked orientation.

It's something to consider. I know I'd buy one. I've got one of yours I bought from you last Fall and am quite happy with it. But, I could use one with more holes in it for another application.

That's $40 + shipping, for a spacer with no hardware?

How much would a 1/2" spacer be?

My buddy has been running this ring with that exact combination for a few months or so now. No problems so far and he has it clocked up in the third hole for the highest position to make it flat. He also built a fixed rear yoke for it using the rear of a Dodge 208. It is in a cab truck with tons and 40's and driven fairly hard. I can get some pics of it if you want.

Here is the driver side drop 208 in my Bronco. I had Shawn counter sink the mounting holes from the opposite side so it would clock a driver side drop up. I put the stud in the first hole and it clocked it flat. No run time on it yet though, the truck is still under construction.

This would be great... I could use one to clock my Ford NP205. If I were to use your product, I would have to notch the ring for the shifters, counter sink the holes and one hole wont line up... can you do anything that would work for us odd balls? I can cut my own notch.

This past weekend I installed my ring, and got everything bolted back together, but when it came time to raise everything into position for the flat skidplate (I have a 2" BL) the upper half of the stock fan on my 258 was pressed upagainst my radiator. ?????? anyone else experience this? I had to put my stock skid plate back on temporarily so it was driveable. The only thing that I have come up with is to take off the mechanical fan and put an electric pusher fan infront of the radiator. Any other input or ideas???

just curious what you guys are using to seal these up, i put mine in and it does not seal at all no idea what to do anymore. All the bolts were loc tited, and i used right stuff sealant but no luck.

Replace the short countersunk cap screws that come in the kit for a set that are about 1" long. I couldn't solve my leaking until I did that, I also found a couple of the holes stripped when I did this from to little engagement.

You need a $10 seal extension e-mail me and we will get you a PN. 1 out of every 10 needs one. Most do not but some setups do. Thanks Shawn

The bolts that come w/ it are 1.5" long there should not be an issue. We had several kits go out for a short period of time that were too short. We also offered new bolts to be sent out to those who needed them. Thanks Shawn

Always have them, typically the seal extension is not needed. However if it is I can find you a local seal extension dealer and I believe they are under $10 Thanks Shawn

I am having leaking issues with my ring, so I guess I need the seal extension. Do you know the part number? Do you stock it, or can I get it locally (in the interest of saving time...)?

This is for a T-5 to Dana300 ring.

I also sent an email and left a voicemail----what's up?

Chicago Rawhide Speedi Sleeve p/n 99193 I do not stock them however there are usually dealers local to you where you can pick them up for around $10 Nine out of 10 applications do not require them this is the reason I do not include them w/ our kits. Thanks Shawn

sawzall, I believe you shaft is too long by approx 3/4" We just cut em and file the splines on the end clean. The other option is to make another 3/4" wide spacer. Thanks Shawn
